Abstract

High customer expectations increase the importance of the human resources involved in banking activities in line with the policies they pursue in order to increase the profitability of corporations. The aim of this study is to investigate the similarities and differences by revealing the human resources strategies of the five banks with the highest number of employees from private and foreign banks operating in the Turkish banking sector. In the study, suggestions were made to increase efficiency and effectiveness for human resources policies. In the study of the data of the Banks Association of Turkey, the official website of the bank, by going to the classification of the data they share in the bank annual report to inform the public content analysis was performed. Accordingly, the findings of banks recruitment, talent management, personnel retention, career planning, wage, social rights and finally training activities were evaluated.
