The Relationship Between Nomophobia Level and Family Role Performance of Men with Preschool Children

Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between nomophobia levels and family role performances of men who have preschool children. In this context, it is aimed to obtain important data to understand how nomophobia affects the roles and responsibilities of male individuals in the family. The study was conducted using simple random sampling method and 127 men with preschool children living in Küçükçekmece District of Istanbul participated in the study. Sociodemographic Information Form, Nomophobia and Family Role Scale were administered to the participants online. According to the findings of the study, it was concluded that nomophobia did not have a significant negative effect on family roles, but its effects in other areas of daily life should be further investigated.
