Abstract

Emotional labor, known as the emotional display of emotions in order to adapt to the rules that organizations have stated, is exhibited while communicating centrally or by telephone with the service areas. Emotional labor approaches, emotional labor dimensions, and emotional labor outcomes have been reported in the study so that emotional labor can be better understood by both organizations and employees. In this study; "Emotional labor concept and concept" is aimed at extracting, evaluating, developing and applying in a wider angle 360 degrees contemporary business life by extracting the first output in terms of a certain limited view in 1981. Evaluations on burnout and intention to quit from the results of emotional labor are discussed. Thus, contemporary business organizations are expected to provide more humane business conditions, realistic business relationships and a satisfying working environment, as well as increasing productivity, quality, creativity and innovation.
