In this direction, the effect of perceived behavioral control, subjective norms and attitudes on vocational school students' intention to choose college and department was examined. Relational survey method, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. Within the scope of the research, 410 of the questionnaires applied to the students of Ondokuz Mayıs University's Havza Vocational School and Samsun Vocational School were evaluated. The obtained data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 and AMOS statistical package programs. As a result of the analyzes carried out, it was revealed that the behavioral intentions of the students in choosing a university and a department were especially affected by subjective norms. On the other hand, it was determined that the average of the students' university preference intention from the demographic characteristics obtained from the students differed only according to the program they studied, and there was no statistically significant difference according to the other demographic characteristics.
