Green Human Resources Management: Examining the Literature with Systematic Content Analysis Method

Abstract
Increasing global warming and environmental pollution have caused a social concern for the protection and regulation of the environment and have created individual awareness. Over time, individual awareness has strengthened, and awareness has begun to be created in organizations. This awareness within organizations at all levels has affected businesses. Businesses have increased their interest in green human resources management, which seeks answers to questions about how they can use human resources effectively for the protection of the environment, how they can increase their environmental performance, and how they can reach their sustainability goals. The aim of this study is to evaluate the studies on green human resources management, which are not covered in the national literature, with a systematic content analysis method. As a result of the analysis, a total of 17 Green Human Resources Management related keywords were identified. The keywords achieving sustainable goals and achieving green education and development have the highest frequency, while achieving environmental goals has the least frequency.
