The Effect of Online Jungian Psychodrama Application on Early Maladaptive Schemas, Psychological Well Being and Self-Commission

Abstract

The research aims to examine the effect of online jungyen psychodrama application on early schemas, psychological well-being and self-compassion in young female participants. The study was carried out between 23.01.2021-02.05.2021 using the single group pretest-posttest experimental and mixed design study method. The sample was determined by the snowball technique, one of the purposeful sampling methods, and the study group consisted of 10 women who agreed to participate in the study. Young Schema Scale, Psychological Well-Being Scale, Self- Compassion Scale Short Form were used for evaluation. The Evaluation Form developed by the researcher was used to qualitatively evaluate the effectiveness of the online jungyen psychodrama application. The data was analyzed with the SPSS 21 statistical package program, and the qualitative data was evaluated with inductive analysis. The findings showed that there was a significant difference in the participants' YSO, PİOÖ, ÖSÖ-SF posttest scores compared to their pretest scores. Qualitative analysis results determined that online Jungian psychodrama application was effective on young adults' early schemas, psychological well-being and selfcompassion. Various findings were discussed in the context of the literature, original results were obtained and suggestions were included.
