Çiçekdağı as a Touristic Product

Abstract

In destinations that are opened to tourists, tourism products of the destination are presented as a whole and in harmony with each other to create a holiday experience. In order for a place to be a touristic destination, it must have attractions that motivate people to visit; accessibility to the destination or tourism enterprises; events such as carnivals, festivals, fairs, congresses, ...; tourism enterprises such as accommodation enterprises, food and beverage enterprises, transport enterprises that people will need in order to easily carry out their tourism activities; the image of the destination and tourism enterprises, which is one of the elements that are formed in the perceptions of people and which greatly affect people's intention to visit the destination. Considering that a destination should have these five elements in order to be considered as a touristic product, a literature review was conducted in order to evaluate Çiçekdağı destination as a touristic product in terms of the elements that make up the tourism product. At the end of the study, it was revealed to what extent Çiçekdağı carries the elements of touristic product and various suggestions were made according to the degree to which the destination meets the elements of touristic product.
