Main Article Content
Abstract
Today around 2.8 million people of Turkish origin live in Germany, which began in 1961 and ended in 1973. While every generation of German Turks who have witnessed at least three generations in the process of German immigration over 60 years takes place in social life with its own characteristics and cyclical variables, the phenomenon of "reMigration" has always been on the agenda, and it is an important parameter for researchers to analyze the behavior of immigrants. "reMigration", which occupies an important place on the agenda of the first generation of migrant workers, is also a strong goal for the second generation, mostly born in Germany, and this process has also manifested itself in the third generation. In the study, in which quantitative research design was used, data were collected from 316 people living in Germany with a questionnaire, and the relationship between generation and "reMigration" approaches was tried to be explained with the Chi-Square Test (Chi-Square Test X2). As a result of the research, it has been seen that the reMigration intentions of the three generations, who have grown up in different social, cultural, economic and pedagogical realities, are different from each other, but strongly present in each generation.
