Bibliometric Analysis of Theses Written in the Field of Work Accidents in the National Thesis Centre

Abstract
The entry into force of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 in 2012 has increased the importance given to Occupational Health and Safety issues. On the other hand, the most striking situation regarding Occupational Health and Safety is the excess of work accidents. In this study, it is aimed to examine the literature on work accidents with bibliometric analysis method within the framework of various parameters. Thus, a search has been made with the term "work accident, work accidents" in the database of Council of Higher Education (YÖK). In the light of the data obtained, master’s theses, medical specialty theses and doctoral theses, which had been written between 1974-2021, has been examined in terms of their bibliometric features, such as their “type, year, university, institute, department, publication language and subject”. The data obtained according to the bibliometric analysis results are included in the findings section.
