Examining The Instructional Leadership Behaviors of School Principals According to Teachers' Opinions

Abstract
This study aims to determine and evaluate the instructional leadership characteristics of school administrators based on the opinions of high school teachers. The research was carried out in the case study model, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The data of the study were obtained by using a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researchers. The interview form was applied to a total of 10 teachers, 5 females and 5 males, working in high schools in the central district of Batman province. The obtained data were analyzed using the content analysis method. At the end of the study, it was seen that the teachers thought that the school administrators could not fulfill their relevant roles adequately in terms of all dimensions of instructional leadership behaviors.
