Abstract

By increasing the rule of law performance of countries, they will be able to provide many economic benefits. Accordingly, the aim of the research is to measure the rule of law performance of the G7 countries over the values of the Rule of Law Index (RLI) components with the UTA method for 2020. According to the findings, the rule of law performance values of the countries within the scope of the UTA method are listed as Japan, Canada, USA, England, Germany, France and Italy. In the study, it was also observed that the rule of law performance values of France and Italy were lower than the average rule of law performance value. In this context, it has been concluded that France and Italy need to increase their rule of law performance in order to be in harmony with other G7 countries on the rule of law.
